Yeah it would be a huge blow and it's really understandable that she'd be upset @Snowie I just so wish it wasn't another thing taken out on you with all that you do for her
I'm just slowly slowly getting ready for a family camping trip that starts tomorrow. Trying to remember all the little bits and pieces I need to bring
yesterday
Ohh soo much is going on here @Snowie , @Ru-bee
For me
So many aches and pains today
Need a new hearing aid, need more new medication
For hubby he is having high functioning ASD added to his diagnosis
Will write more on my One Day at a time here thread
yesterday
That does sound like a lot @Shaz51 how are you doing with it all?

So looking forward to our holiday and a break from it all @Ru-bee but at the same time worry how she will cope without me being there.
I do tell her that it's not my fault but she doesn't listen. She only listens to what she wants too.
Ohhh a camping trip sounds like fun. I hope you remember to pack everything. How long are you gone for?
@Shaz51oh hon, it sounds like lots are happening for you and Mr Shaz at the moment. Really does sound like you just need to take it moment by moment.

Hope you’re ok @Snowie and I know that all of this stuff with your mum is really hard but I really hope you don’t take too much of this to heart. I know it’s super challenging though.
sitting with you hon 💕

Hey lovely @Bow how are you feeling today?
When does your holiday start @Snowie? I think it's natural to feel some guilt, but a way you can try to flip that on it's head a little is to look at this time away as a necessary time away so that you can recharge a little and come back more ready to give the support that your mum is needing. Sometimes having that break is what's best for everyone
I'm going for 5 days which I think will be just long enough to feel relaxed, and short enough that I hopefully won't start to argue with any of my family members 😂
@Shaz51 sending you some hugs 💕

Sorry, just been dealing with a few things for mum.
We go away on the 6th Feb @Ru-bee for 12 days. Looking forward to the break.
I hope you are able to deal with your family and have no arguments. Hopefully also it's nice weather and you don't get rained on!
Do you have at least your own tent/room?
Thanks @Shaz51 @Bow hugs to you both. Seems like we are all dealing with some things in our lives at the moment.
@Shaz51 we are actually going to tour two nursing homes next week so mum can see them whilst she can still remember them. See how that goes.

Ooh 12 days away sounds great @Snowie
I'll be sharing a 2-man hiking tent with my partner because I broke my slightly bigger one a few months ago...luckily we get on well 99% of the time. And I do with my family too, it's more that they all clash with each other and I'm the peacekeeper who has to hear them all complain about each other. Just need make a secret signal I can give to my partner a secret signal when I need to escape and go on a long bushwalk to get a breather
@Bow I'm sorry to hear that hun. I'm glad you're here though. Is there anything that's been helping you through the day today?
