Keeping myself busy @Ru-bee. Treadmill, mowed the back lawn, in the process of patching up/painting over some holes from shelves on the wall. Had left over paint but for whatever reason is super darker. Doing some craft while watching Netflix and of course spending time with my 3 tiny foster kittens

Been writing a list of everything that we need.

Thats good who you are sharing with. Totally understand the need to get away at times. Family can be so much work! I love the secret signal. My hubby and I have that when I've had enough of being around people.

Just need to get through till then. Day by day or even hour by hour.

How did I forget about the foster kittens!! @Bow how are they going? Are they the sweetest things in the world or are they cute little gremlins?

I do like camping, I grew up camping every summer with my family by the beach and it was always just the most fun. Now it's way harder to plan with everyone as adults but I try to go with them every 2 years or so when I'm able. I'm trying to get into hiking next, I'm going to do an overnight hike on Monday just to see if I like it or if I want to stick to just plain old camping

They are super cute @Ru-bee! But lots of work. I’ve cut their feds back from 4 to 3 today to see how they go. Gotta make sure they keep putting weight on though. Weighing them every day.

I use to camp heaps as a kid too. I kinda like it… but my back needs a good bed. Did some camping in the backyard over covid and D liked it. Would love to be able to take her camping… it’d be fun. I’d also love a van decked out with all the stuff and to go road tripping- that way I could have a proper mattress! 

hiking be fun to. Did you watch the summit when it was on tv?

Oh I know, the mattress is a bit of an issue @Bow I think I'm going to head out and buy a new inflatable one tonight because last time I went camping ours kept deflating which lead to some terrible sleeps. Air mattresses are just never that comfy though... A van would be great!

I like to take a proper blanket and pillows when I camp so I still have a bit of extra comfort.

Anyway, I'm off but I'll catch up with you all next week!
