@rav3n I've been reading this afternoon, trying to block things out. Just trying to get lost in something other than my thoughts. I think it will be an evening on the couch.
It was my own fault last night.

sounds like a good plan for tonight @Snowie what are you reading at the moment?
us humans have good moments and bad ones, but we're not defined by a single moment. i know it might be hard to have self-compassion for yourself right now, but you do deserve it. what matters is you're here now, and you're trying your best to get through it. even if its moment by moment, that's still moving forward.

@rav3n I'm reading a book called Irena's Gift. It's based on WW2. I'm about 1/3 of the way through and it is good so far. I can get lost in it.
Maybe I should have gone last night, but I didn't want to be admitted.
It's H's birthday Sunday so I'm just trying to get through to then.

the ones you can get lost in are the best kinds of books @Snowie glad you're enjoying it so far! are you a fast reader?
are you okay though - do you need any immediate medical attention? i hear that, it's difficult when H's birthday is around the corner, is there anyone else you've talked to about it?

Fairly crummy to be honest @Snowie
had to play taxi to mum and the dog to take them to the vet. Needles due.
then took D shopping for school stuff. Gosh it’s expensive! New bag, 2 pairs of shoes, headphones and all the stationary. And I got her new shorts and socks last week and once the office opens I need to order her some new shirts.
been lazing in bed all afternoon.
my new bookshelf for my books that I collect just arrived. So I will put that together tomorrow while D is at her father’s.
did you find hubby a birthday present?

@rav3n I am a fast reader, especially when I get lost in the book.
Do you read much? Any genre's you like?
I don't need any medical attention. Trying not to repeat myself. I spoke to someone from LL last night.
Just meant to act all happy and merry.
I'm sorry things aren't going well for you either @Bow What are you up to tonight?
I took S the other day for school supplies. They are really expensive on top of the text books that he needs. Like a never ending money pit!
Thats exciting that your bookshelf arrived.
Does that mean you need to buy even more books to fill it?
Got a present for hubby, just need to get the kids to write on his card.

I’m in bed watching a movie @Snowie i need to get up and get a drink. Haven’t drank much today and now I am so dang thirsty.
oh I can imagine it would be expensive for your son… it’s only going to get more expensive for D. My D is in women’s sized shoes!
yep I’ll need more books! I spend ages on FB marketplace/ebay looking for books.
glad you found a present.

Bed sounds good @Bow I won't tell you to keep your fluids up, I'm sure you have enough people telling you that!
I'm hoping S has finished growing now so don't have to buy any more uniform. Still need to get him new school shoes. Wait till the calculator costs over $200. It's like a bloody mini computer!!
At D's age with them growing, you are constantly having to get mew uniform.
More books sounds great 😁
