Listening to triggering music

Re: Listening to triggering music

@creative_writer oh how rough!! It was the tail-end of your holiday I hope? Like, you weren't sickly the whole time?

I've never been to SE Asia!! Any highlights or cool experiences you wanna share?

Re: Listening to triggering music

@tyme I also forgot to take one of my meds so didn’t sleep well. I was very busy and distracted during the day, so mood wise I did okay until it kicked in at the end of the trip. My lack of sleep may have affected the viral infection intensity. Still appear to have a fever.

Australia has so many lovely parks. It’s amazing that you have them close by, kids love them.

@Jynx I actually went to East Asia. It was cold, especially at the mountains. It was snowing up there. I did have the sniffles the whole time, but it wasn’t awful at the start. I was very sick and cranky on the way back. Our schedule was very jammed packed despite being a short trip. The mountain view was amazing, enjoyed the mountain trip, despite it being so cold

Re: Listening to triggering music

I hope you can rest up. @creative_writer

Feeling sick is sooo annoying!

Re: Listening to triggering music

@creative_writer oooh I LOVE mountains. They always make me feel insignificant, but in like a poignant, moody way lol. Sounds like quite a delightful adventure!! Did you like, hike up the mountain or anything?

Re: Listening to triggering music

@tyme I’m lying down with a damp towel on my forehead. My dad is on the same boat as me rn too. We probably passed it on each other as a family. It is annoying, and it’s been like a week. I’ll be seeing the GP soon. Though things like the flu can linger for a while.

I hope the kiddos haven’t been too mischievous with you.

@Jynx mountains have amazing views. I didn’t do lot of hiking, some here and there. We would go out then go into a souvenir shop to warm up and then be out again. I do advise people to wear more layers, I did not have enough layers on. Buses were also kept warm.

Re: Listening to triggering music

Aww nice @creative_writer did you bring home any cool little gifts or souveniers? Yeah we are NOT used to dressing for cold weather in this country hahaha. I have only been in a place so cold it hurt a couple of times and it's a different kind of cold, hey.

I am heading off!! Catch you next week? Hope you have a spiffy weekend hun 😊💜

Re: Listening to triggering music

hey @creative_writer sounds like you had a lovely time in east asia!! glad you got a chance to connect with nature, must've been a lil refreshing. ahh i hear you about the cold, every time i go to India my immune system fails me and the whole trip, hope you feel better soon!! 💗

Re: Listening to triggering music

@Jynx I did. I do agree we don’t dress for the weather. I think a lot of people didn’t dress with enough layers. It’s would’ve been hassle removing and putting on layers when going out. The heater was strong on the bus. I hope to catch you next week 💖🫂

@rav3n I think in crowded places it’s very easy to get bugs. Still sick, but it takes time to recover from some viral infections. I had a slight fever earlier today.

We stayed in the major cities, but took day trips which included going to more regional areas. I would imagine it’s easy to get sick among crowds in India. I hope you had a lovely break💖
