Oh hectic, I'm sorry to hear that, must have been a really challenging time for you. Does it just affect your memory or other things too? Of course please don't feel pressured to answer if you don't want to! 

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, though I think the name doesn't really explain how it affects me. Basically my brain is low on dopamine, which is the neurotransmitter associated with motivation, pleasure, and satisfaction. I also struggle with executive function - like short term memory, planning ahead, awareness of time, stuff like that. If you're curious you can read about it here!

Fav tv series, wow that's hard to choose! Mainly I like cartoons, some of my favs are Avatar: The Last Air Bender, She-Ra (the new one on Netflix), The Owl House, and Gravity Falls. Lots of magic, mischief, and mayhem!! What about you? 

Yeah I like board games, don't get to play them too much. I prefer tabletop RPGs, like Dungeons and Dragons! So much fun. You ever played? 

Walking up the hill? Not sure what you mean. I like walking in general, and I suppose walking up hills is good for the glutes! Haha

Oh no, I hope you are taking some slow, deep breaths! It will pass eventually, what sort of things usually help you when you're having an anxiety attack? Cuddling a teddy would be perfect about now!

Yeah I have many fluffy toys on and around my bed! Plus my weighted blanket, soooo good. 

I don't work every day, but most days! 

You can share as much or as little as you like about your mental health! If you'd prefer to keep it private that is so fine. We sometimes ask because it can be helpful for us to know, so we can provide the best kind of support. Everyone has different needs after all. So up to you if you want to share 😊

@Sunnyside226 a weighted blanket is a blanket with like, sand or beads inside that makes it heavier than a normal blanket. It's really good for folks who are neurodiverse, like me with my ADHD or yourself with autism! I think they sell them at Kmart now if you wanted to check it out! 

Oh that is rough, to not know if your partner is safe or not! I hope you get to chat to him soon and know that he's okay!

Absolutely we allow autistic folks here! We encourage and celebrate their presence on the forums in fact! There's quite a few members who are autistic, hopefully you can meet some and can make some new buds! 

Oh gosh, a dizzy moment! Hope you're okay. You can probably get checked out by the hospital if you need to! Also, considering how much you're dealing with and how stressful things are with the little one, it could be worth asking the hospital staff if there's a social worker or someone who can look at ways to support you over the next few months. There's likely some kind of social support service, so there's no harm in seeing if there's anything they can do for you!

There's a few of us, not sure how many actually. I think we're just on a little more often. 

Not studying at the moment no, but considering it. Haven't decided what yet, so just gonna be content with where I'm at! What do you want to study?
