Dear Fellow Forumites,

I wanted to give you all an update about forums staffing over the Christmas break 2023 and New Year break 2024, as some members have been enquiring.

In the past, SANE staff have taken extended time off during this period. We have since reviewed this.

We recognise that while this time may be a break to look forward to for many around the world, it can also be a highly distressing time for others.

Because of this, SANE services will be available with business-as-usual except the public holidays:

- 25th December 2023

- 26th December 2023

- 1st January 2024

In terms of forums staffing, Peer Support Workers will certainly be around as usual 10am-10pm (EXCEPT for the national public holiday dates above). Moderators will continue to moderate the forums 24/7 - so yes, there will ALWAYS be someone on the forums.

Thanks @tyme  and thank you to all the peer workers and moderators who make this a safe place. @tyme This is a massive thing for some here. It is so pleasing to know SANE is not just listening to it's members but putting that into practice also. Yet another way that SANE continues to lead the way - especially at a time that is so difficult for so many.
