Something’s not right

hi i need some help please...

hi all

i think i am in a abusive long distant relationship...im trying to get out of it without it

effecting me, i feel this lady is in a relationship with someone else....

im not sure if she's married or engaged to someone.

but im not happy how shes controlling my movement...i would like to go out more

often and meet new people.

without the consent.

i find it really frustrating she's not listening or care bout how i feel instead of her owns.

it's meant to be a two way street not one sided to be in a relationship.

i feel like this needs to stop.

i need to get out of it.

how to get out of a abusive relationship?

i dont think and feel the chemistry is there.....we always get into a arguement or some force of nature makes me else where.

where would i find a social group to meet new people? without being at risk?

i know some sites. but i wanna find something similar sites to it. maybe some involving round mental health.

ok thanks guys

Re: hi i need some help please...

Relationships are so hard, and you do need to get out of the one you’re in

but “no person is an island” we need companionship & social outlets.

so finding groups is great 👍

The first community group that came to my mind for you is

- GROW

https://www.grow.org.au/

But there’s also

- sports groups

- common interest groups

- lions club

- rotary

- Religious / Church groups...

Go on your local council website and check their Community Groups

- 12 Step programs are everywhere

   like AA...  Overcomers

Youve done the right thing reaching out here. I’ll tag in a couple that might relate  : @Adge@TAB@eudemonism@Bill16. and so many more

Keep expanding your circle and you’ll find something that fits 😊💕

Re: hi i need some help please...

@aliciawearie07 Hi. Just reduce contact re distance maybe they’ll get the hint. I’ve been with people who had other lives. And turned alarm bells off. If something seems sus it probably is. Staying in the situation will only make the inevitable end more difficult. Just my experience anyway

Re: hi i need some help please...

@aliciawearie07 are you female or male? How old are you?

Yea you gotta consider the circumstances i suppose. You gotta realise your part in the predicament, so you can learn and make a good decision for yourself.

Re: hi i need some help please...

Hi there and welcome

I dont have experience with an abusive relationship as you are however i do hope you can get out soon.

In regards to social groups. You could try meetup, they have quite a variety of things where you can meet others. Sometimes there are local support groups for mental health, a community centre may be able to point you in the right direction or facebook.
