sorry I haven’t been around, my MH has been not great at all, I’ve just been hiding away from everything at the moment. I don’t know how to feel, things are just everywhere.

Things have been really hard, that’s why I haven’t been on the forums since June, I havent been able to bring myself to hop on and write this message, I’ve had a lot happen, I’ve had a big few months, a few hospital trips. One landed me with an infusion because I was struggling so much I didn’t see any hope, I have made it through though, I still have bad days. My doctor has said my case is too complex for her and that I need to find someone else. I had another trauma come, it’s just all coming at once.

Aww @Fluttershy1 sending you some very big hugs!! Sounds like it's been a really rough time, it's totally okay that you haven't had it in you to post something till now!! That's really rough about your doctor too, it's never fun having to start again with someone new. Fingers crossed it turns out to be a good thing and you get paired up with a slick doc who you feel safe n comfy with!

Alas I can't stay to chat longer but I appreciate the tag and perhaps will catch you soon - but also no pressure if you're still not ready to come back on forums all the time!! Whatever is best for ya 😉💜

hey @Fluttershy1 don't think we've met before but i'm rav3n (one of the newer mods), welcome back! it's lovely to e-meet you!

i can see that you've gone through a lot in the past few month. having things happen one after the other can definitely be overwhelming, and you've shown such great strength in reaching out. thanks for letting us know you're safe, really glad to hear. it can be a bit tricky when there's changes in your support system such as needing to find a new doc, hopefully they can refer you to a new one who is specialised real soon. in the meantime, you do have the forums community to support you and you can always reach out to services like Lifeline (Lifeline crisis supporter (24 Hrs) 13 11 14) and SCBS (Suicide callback service (24 Hrs) 1300 659 467)

at anytime. with so much going on, it can sometimes feel like things are moving so fast and all over the place so please don't forget to slow down and take things one tiny step at a time. sitting with you @Fluttershy1 💙

things are slowly getting better, just taking it step by step, less trips to ER, and being able to manage at home which is amazing. 

but really sad as my psychologist is leaving and I feel like I’ve only just started opening up to her about the hard stuff and my trauma. 

I don’t know how to feel though.

Hey @Fluttershy1 good to hear from you! I'm so glad to hear that things have gotten easier to manage and you're able to be home more. 

Those transitions are always so hard hey. Do you have another psych lined up? Could you get your current psych to write up a letter to the new one with a bunch of details, so you don't have to go back to the beginning?

I’ve got another psych lined up, they will do handover with my current one etc, I meet her in November and I have my last session with my other psych in November which is going to be tough, I don’t know how I feel about it though.

@Fluttershy1 yeah for sure, these transitional periods are always fraught with very mixed feelings hey. 

You can go ahead and post it - it won't appear to everyone else until it gets approved, so if it is a bit inappropriate we can just block the post and let you know. Alternatively you can email it to us to double check but that might take longer, and the changing of the guard (swapping of mods lol) happens at 10pm so you might not get a reply till tomorrow.
