is a psychologist a shrink thats what they want they said they will put me in mental hospital ... can they do that? put me in a mental hospital I mean? I dont think im insane but can they do that? they already called cops before what if they do it again and they make me upset again and say im insane?

Oh does that mean I have mental illness and they can put me in a mental hospital? I dont want to go to mental hospital I just want ppl to stop trying to make me upset and just act normal like they used to and be friends ...

Having a mental health condition doesn't mean they will put you in a hospital. I have a mental illness too - in fact, I have a few. @NotInsane 

The reason they may want you in a hospital can be:

1) to get the right medication

2) if they feel you are not safe

3) if they want to observe how your mental health may be affecting you

Please know, you are not placed in a hospital because someone 'felt like it' or they 'just wanted to'.

Did they literally say,  "You have a mental illness?" Or has it been perceived that way @NotInsane 

It seems that many people do have a mental health condition at one point in their life of another. 

Rather than focusing on the 'illness' or 'condition', can I ask, are you pleased with how things are going in your life? Or are there things you feel you need to work on in order to have more functionality?

No one can MAKE you recover. Yet recovery starts with an acceptance that something needs to change. I'm not sure where you are at the moment, and hence I'm asking.

I already said they make me upset and say Im insane and they keep doing that  ....  I want them to stop making me upset thats what needs to change  ...is it my fault they make me upset they call me names I didnt do anything to them ... can I report them or something?
