yep definitely agree, so many times good sleep was the reason why my 'potentially bad day' turned out okay. @Snowie
oh i see, the travel probably makes it feel like half your day's gone when you attend the appointment? i'm glad you're comfortable with him, he seems worth the journey. hope all goes well with your appointment! i can imagine you have heaps to catch up on, has it been a month since the last one?
i'm the same, love my photos and videos too! i'm guessing you'll be able to capture some pretty amazing views over there.
i agree, i like just relaxing at home with friends. it's nice just sinking into the couch and chatting away sometimes. she's a bit of a homebody too so it works out for us.

I do sometimes think that sleep has a big effect on my days @rav3n
The nap today probably helped too!
It has been awhile since I saw my pdoc last. Well over a month. Still have another 3 weeks to wait until I can see my psych again. Is a long time without the support.
Hopefully I can share some photos with all of you here. Still so much to organise before we go.
I'm more of a homebody too. Would much rather just catch up with someone at home than go out.
I have my SIL's surprise 50th on Saturday night. Am dreading it. The people, the noise, the small talk. I know I shouldn't think this but would much rather be sick than go.

oh naps are amazing!! finding the perfect nap duration has been tough for me though, sometimes i wake up groggy and even more tired, other times i wake up with more energy @Snowie
it sucks that you had to deal with such a big gap of no support from pdoc or psych, but i'm also proud of you for getting through that tough time.
oh yes, so keen to see some Japan pics!! you got all your passport/visa stuff sorted?
i hear you, parties can be such an overwhelming and overstimulating environment. do you reckon there would be a room/outdoor area you can hide in to escape people if needed?

Naps are like that @rav3n sometimes you wake up even more tired!
It's been hard without the support. At least I knew it was going to happen so it wasn't a surprise. I had a chance to plan for it before hand. I could really use my psych but I guess she's allowed holidays too!
Got passports/visa sorted. Just have to organise meds, copies of scripts and letter from doctor. Probably won't need them but better to have them just in case.
Where we are going Saturday night I've never been to before, which makes things worse. Not sure the setup. At least I know they will have toilets, can always hide in there.

Finally spoke to pdoc today. Unloaded on him. Now everything has been brought up again.
Tried so hard to suppress it. I don't know why I opened the flood gates.

Not really @tyme
I feel like I shouldn't have said it over the phone.

Were you able to work on some self-care towards the end of your session to 'round things off' and make it a bit easier to sit at home with @Snowie
I'm here if you need a chat.

Not really @tyme
It's another 3 weeks before I speak to the pdoc again, even longer for my psych
It's my own fault. I just need to burrow things down again like I did before

Do you think these thoughts 'need' to get out as a way to move forward with recovery? I'm just wondering if putting a lid on it will mean you have to start all over again in 3 weeks? @Snowie
I'm sorry it's so hard for you at the moment.
