Do you have any plans for after Christmas? Will boxing day be a big rest day for you?

I feel like I need a break before Xmas day @Ru-bee 

I know it's a big holiday but I just don't see the hype. I can't get excited by it. Yes I'll pretend like it's a big deal and act the part.

 No plans for afterwards. Hoping Boxing Day is just a rest day, eating leftovers.

Christmas can be exhausting even at the best of times @Snowie I've specifically planned to have a nice night at home tomorrow night to rest up before the day, and I'm going to spend a few days after just relaxing, maybe doing a nice big clean before the new year.

I've got about a week off all up which will be nice, sometimes it's good to be forced to rest

It is exhausting. This person doesn't really talk to this person. This one's angry at this one. Families can just be hard work. Just play the part, smile and pretend. Wish it was already done.

On top of that there is a Community Meeting tonight close by about bush fire near us. Don't know if I should go. Have been following it on the Emergency app. I think they are worried about Xmas day and boxing day being really bad for it.

hiya @Snowie just realised i missed some posts from last week & only read now about D's NZ trip - so glad she got to experience some adrenaline over there!! how's your afternoon going?

She certainly loved it @rav3n Did a lot of things I would never do!

I have people over for xmas lunch so been cleaning the main bathroom. Thats the last room I had to do. Afternoon is ok. I just wish it was all over. My head isn't coping, I just want to disappear.

glad the cleaning's done, i'm guessing there's still the cooking part to go? seems like the xmas lunch is putting some extra pressure on you, is H or the kids able to help out as well?
