@Snowie, how are you doing today, hun? I still feel depressed but doing better and feel a bit of a migraine, but at least it’s an improvement of the last few days. Just in bed listening to nature sounds on my phone to de-stress 💕

Can relate to that @Eve7 It is hard sometimes.

 

Took D to a careers expo this morning. It went ok but way too many people for my liking. Luckily I had some prn with me that helped a bit. Been really angry at myself for what I have been doing but can't seem to stop. Feels like a no-win situation.

 

@creative_writer I hope your migraine doesn't get any worse. Listening to nature sounds seems like a good way to de-stress. I hope it is helping.

@Snowie, you are trying your best, and its natural to feel angry at yourself, we are often really critical with ourselves, sometimes we need to learn to be kind and it won't come naturally at first, but slowly. You made through a tough day despite not feeling so good, that sounds like a win.

It does help to listen to nature sounds, been trying to do it more lately. My body is in flight and fight mode during baseline.

Flight and fight mode is hard, but I'm glad it helps listening to nature sounds.

 

Just watching tv at the moment. Trying to stay awake for a bit longer or I will end up waking up too early.

 

Have you got any plans for tomorrow?

@Snowie, getting through it slowly. Flight and fight mode wears you down physically and mentally. Watching tv is a good distraction, what are you watching?

I have a uni study group thing tom, kind of dreading that I have to travel to get to uni via public transport, but maybe socialising and studying with other people would be good for me. Do you have any plans?

@creative_writer watching Big Bang Theory. Watch it a lot, especially when I am down, makes me laugh!

 

I hope your uni study group goes ok. It is hard travelling on public transport, I always dread that the amount of people around me. Socialising and studying might be a good distraction. It is great that you still have that. Do you enjoy it?

 

Not got much on tomorrow. Just a bit of food shopping. H is going fishing early in the morning. Told him not to come home if he doesn't catch anything!!!

We lose an hours sleep too in VIC with daylight savings ending 😢

@Snowie, I think I am dreading public transport more than going to uni. I believe it will be fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon at uni but can't say the same with trains and trams. I do enjoy my course, haven't been successful in making many friends, I'm just really shy.

I hope food shopping goes well and H gets plenty of delicious fish.

Yeah, it always feels so dark when daylight savings ends. Not a winter person, I feel like it's so dark a lot of the time.

@creative_writer I am glad you enjoy your course, it always helps if we like something, we seem to put more effort into it. I am shy too and struggle to make friends. 

 

It does feel dark so much earlier when day light savings ends. But I don't mind the winter, it means I get to go to the snow!

@Snowie, snow can be very pretty. I think in winter, I just need to try to make sure I soak some sunlight in or I tend to feel more tired and flat. Maybe I am a plant in human form? lol
