had a mostly chilled weekend. Didn’t really get up to too much. I did manage to pick up a FREE display cabinet though. Been looking for something all last week but everyone I enquired about fell through. Was hoping to get something over the weekend and had pretty much given up, but did one last search on marketplace and found one for free and 5 mins away! And they were willing to help me put it in my car cause I had no one to help me and my stupid bung shoulder.
I then went to bunnings today. Got a primer/undercoat cause my shoulder won’t let me sand it back… got no elbow grease! Then wanted to have some paint tinted navy blue but I didn’t wanna buy expensive paint but they wouldn’t tint the cheap stuff. I told him it was just for furniture so he showed me some furniture paint, which was already tinted a very similar navy blue and guess what???… it was on clearance for….. $5! Walked out a very happy bow!
taped up the glass and filled the holes as well today and should be ready for the first coat of paint tomorrow.
my SW has been away the last 2 days. Can pretty much guarantee they are away when mum goes away! Sigh
