Guess I’m still feeling about 50/50 about missing it @Ru-bee i know my psychologist could probably give me some strategies to help me get through the next week or so. Help me manage and maybe help prevent me spiraling to the point of no return. That would at least be the hope. And I probably should have let her know beforehand or maybe answered the no caller id call that was probably her.
But…. Shutting people out and going into hiding feels like what I need to do at the moment. Feels safe. Feels easiest. Don’t have to be vulnerable and open all those things up.
But… then I have moments where I need support. Need to feel heard. Need to not feel so alone.
But… sigh

It is a lot @Bow and it can be so hard to know when we need to listen to ourselves and do what feels safe, and when we actually need to push ourselves to discomfort and do something that may ultimately be good for us.
Sometimes all we can do is choose what feels safest and that's okay.
And you know that we're always here to listen and to provide you with support ❤️

I’d be due to see my psychologist next Thursday but that is my trauma anniversary and I don’t know what state I’ll be in
