@Bow how's the packing & sorting, still got lots to do? 

aww nooo sucks about the shoulder and back pain, have heat packs and ointments been helpful? or even a gentle self-massage? 

meltdowns are tough, hope it's calmed down a bit? did the easter egg hunt for D go okay?

Just packing what we don’t need @rav3n and declutter along the way. Still don’t have a new house to move to. I’m hating the mess. Boxes everywhere. 

Some painkillers and a cream rubbed on my back helped. Resting for the day definitely helped my shoulder, but back to it today and it’s sore again. Need to call and make an appointment for some physio tomorrow. 

Yeah she has calmed down now thankfully. She loved the egg hunt… one remains unfound though. 

just watching the news. The Pope has died. Then there was a story about all the drownings over the weekend. Then a murder. So much sadness in the world.

@Bow not having somewhere to move to yet sounds pretty stressful, are you getting any support around it? boxes everywhere sounds like an overstimulating sight!

i imagine the decluttering and packing boxes doesn't help the pain as well... hopefully that physio session helps too.

i hear you, so many tragic stories recently, it's hard not to be effected by them. is there anything that's been helping you cope with the all the overwhelming news?

Yeah it’s pretty stressful @rav3n the horrible side of renting eh. Just me and mum looking. Checking websites multiple times a day. 

Yeah I’m very careful about what I lift and how I move… or at least I try to. It’s kinda hard…. And how I think I hurt it in the first place… I’m kinda the one that is left to do all of the lifting around the house and manual labor. 

I don’t know… just weighs heavy eh. Makes ya think

ahh yep @Bow fingers crossed some good properties pop up on your search real soon!! 

it's sooo easy to injure yourself lifting, hey. even when you're being careful, there's just some boxes/weights that make you compromise your posture - and with all the main load left for you to deal with, makes sense why the pain keeps coming back. hopefully you can get a proper break once you've found a new place. take care!! 💙

yeah, it is. sometimes i disconnect from media/news for a bit so i can get a break and reconnect with nature and family again. how are you holding up? maybe some self-care for those heavy feelings might help?

just waiting for daughter to go to bed and then I can crawl into bed myself. Think we have a day at home tomorrow which will be good.

not much planned at the moment, if i have energy i was going to try watch a movie at the cinema. haven't been a while so would be nice... but i also have a heap of stuff to clean up and unpack in my room so depends on how fast i get that done.

I haven’t really done much crafting @rav3n had too much other stuff to do, but got this finished off recently. A book sculpture, but it’s a small book. I’ll sell this one hopefully! 

 

Groot is good. The kittens are good, they go in on Thursday for desexing and we sat our goodbyes. Won’t see them again after that. snapped a few pics today of them

so fair, i had a feeling you'd be busy with the packing but thought i'd ask in case there was an update- and glad i did cos wowwww!! @Bow love how the book sculpture turned out - the arch of cards is definitely my favourite detail. 

awww they just keep getting cuter!! i imagine saying good bye to them this sat is gonna be hard for you and them, they seemed to love spending time with you and your craft station. they're so lucky to have had your family look out for them!! 

so i'm debating between wicked (yep i still haven't watched it! i was going to wait for it to come on Disney+) or Sinners (i have no idea what its about but i like the cast).

I’m really struggling today. I was already in a bad place, but now I am so angry and frustrated with myself as well. I’m so useless and such a failure I don’t know why I even bother anymore.
