Cows mooing @Captain24 ? You know, I really like cows for some reason. I love their eyes for some reason. I'd choose cows over sheep any day. lol.
Oh, so it wasn't you who hasn't been overseas. I wonder who it was? NZ is lovely. I've been there many times.
Spain and Ireland sound interesting. I haven't been there.
I'd like to go to Japan. In Dec, I'm going to Singapore and India. My cousins are in Singapore. So we'll go to Singapore to see them most probably (unless they are visiting Australia at that time). Then we'll go to India. I've been to India before and I love their culture. This time, we are going to a different part - not sure where though.

Yep.. cows mooing. @tyme. Not something you hear very often. Someone around has a donkey I hear it sometimes. My estate is just outside of town. I like cows better but the most interactive is goats!
New Zealand was beautiful. The clouds of the water, the glaciers, the snow capped mountains. I loved it.
Spain was amazing. It’s so old and well kept. We went to many church’s and cathedrals. We saw St Theresa’s burial place. We were in Salamanca and went through the old cathedral and then the tour guide said we’d go to the new one. I thought to myself I could just see one of those in Australia. Nope.. the new one was built in the 1600’s! They were all so ornate. Carvings on every surface including the roof. It amazed me that they use them. We saw a lot of the bishops housing. Everything was so cold and uncomfortable. We certainly live in a more comfortable era. I also walked over a bridge that was older than Jesus! One place we went to had the fort walls around it, you know, like medieval times. The towers where they put the cannons were there. It was only then did I realise medieval was really not a story.
In Ireland we only the 3 days. But my host dad took me to the ruins of a castle. Like one out of a fairy tale. It was amazing.
That sounds interesting. Are you going with your sister and kids?

Wow! Sounds like a 'spiritual' overseas trip for you back then? @Captain24 It's nice to see things around the world, but I have to admit that it's always nice to be back home. I just tell myself that the sky is still blue overseas and the grass is still green.
I'm going alone for this trip in May, but in December, my sister's family is going too, including the kids. I think we just paid about $20k for tickets! Ticket prices have grown exponentially since COVID.
Did I tell you that I once got a round trip to and from Sydney for $40? It was $19 something for one way. That was BEFORE COVID.
Yes, NZ is so so picturesque. Super expensive though! Remember a block of cadbury was $9 or something. And that was back then!
Chocolate is expensive here now too. Even those Ester bunnies are at least $5-$9 when they used to be $3 or something.
Oh well... that's life.
I'm going to wrap up now. Thanks for the company tonight. I'm going to try and have an early night and 'reset' my life. I hope to see you Wednesday if you are around?

Too easy @Captain24 tag me when you're about - I do tend to take my break around that time, just in case I take a smidge to reply 😉
