Death of My Idol

After hearing about David Bowie passing away a couple of horus ago i have become so emotional he was my Hero as a young boy seeing & hearing his music made me understand that it was all right being Different i did not have to be a Jock whatever i even do my workouts at gym to his music on my Ipod this has hit me hard he is only 9yrs older than me

I started crying when I heard about it. My friend also lost her mother today for cancer so it was a double punch.

@Jamc - I too really felt the great loss of David Bowie, he was like a ribbon of narrative and hope in my life. I mourned his passing and celbrated with other fans in Melbourne at a memorial on Saturday. It was good to connect with people for whom this passing has left a huge hole int heir life. His work goes on, and his last work blackstar (and in particualr the single Lazarus - were his swansong. 

I hope you can hold all the good and wonderful strength and meaning of his body of work. He took me through many... Changes... Heart
