Re: Confused

Wating on appointments are an absolute killer for me. The anxiety builds up quickly and i become emobilised.  My brain goes into overdrive, going over all the different scenarios. I cant focus on anything.

If i can get myself outside of the house it can help. A walk round the garden.stop and smell the roses literally. Or get out for a drive to the beach, grab a coffee and watch the ocean.because its 45 minutes away, i dont always have it in me for the drive. Have a walk aroung the shopping centre. What it does is distract your mind for a while so you get some relief from that racing mind.

Hope some of tnat helps.

Re: Confused

Chris, such good advice. I thought about the same thing but do you think I could organise some ice etc. No, my head is in the clouds! I will buy a bag of ice today and be more careful about what I put in my mouth. I would love to have someone hold me to account on this one, my husband is not helpful! All Greg says to me is that I'm more cuddly! Nice words but I know to be happy with myself I need to put the breaks on regarding this one.

Re: Confused

@Chris that's some good advice. I live literally a 5 minute drive away from my local beach but I rarely visit. I know what you mean about anxiety building up. My supervisor sent me a 'meeting request' for a 'chat'. I couldn't stop the huge wave of what if's and had to hide in the toilets to calm down. @Angels333 My head is generally over the place but I know it's bad when I find the milk in the cupboard and search for the keys in my pocket. I hope it gets better for you soon
