Aww no @Shaz51 sounds really intense! Do you know what prompted the meltdown?
Hope he's doing a bit better now!! I always feel really delicate after a meltdown hey, chocolate and a big hug do me wonders!!

Hubby has brought a canopy for his ute and he thought he can just have it installed tomorrow but it has not been that easy so hope everything works out when we pick it up

Thank you @Shaz51 I will keep this ASD Thread in mind too.
I still think it would have been far more helpful to know I had ASD in my teens & 20s
Finding out at age 55 is not so helpful.

I've only disclosed to one person so far Re: Having Autism.
Her response was generalising & minimising: "Everyone has some level of Autism".
Very unhelpful, considering the effort that I went to to disclose that information.
I was expecting or hoping for an empathetic response.
Instead I got a put-down.
