can anyone suggest a good doorbell camera for outside please cause I have brought 5 in the last  couple of months and they just won't connect to my wifi I was told it's cause my wifi has 5gig although I have 2.4gb as well but they just keep trying to connect to the 5gb.

I can't see the front door and yard and Leo one of my dogs keeps barking lot and when I check there's no one there as he barks at anything on the streets

hi @saturnzoon what brand camera are you buying and are you wanting it to connect to 2.4 or 5g? do you also have the router required to run it?

prob nothing wrong at all, 5g and 2.5g are not incompatible, its just the speed the run at and distance can travel etc. can you see doorbell on anything to connect with? will it connect when right next to it ? 5g is shorter range than 2.5g all I know. what does the doorbell connect to ? re wifi, a computer ? dunno. I really dont know, but sounds like not in range
