I also have many family members interstate, and the rest are a long drive away. So I'm having Xmas on my own this year. Though I have only today received an invite from my former neighbours to have Xmas lunch with them. So I may do that.

I really hope 2025 is a better year for you 🎉.  And yes, please do stay in touch when you can.

seems voucher good for 7 days @SmilingGecko  so will need another one before next appt. as cant go on cancellation list as need notice to go off thinners they gave me a number over the phone for voucher, no big deal, just have to pay another $56 next time and probs get more pain meds from GP in meantime. today might have been $150 for xray and exam so saved a bit already

have started shopping, got a roast and a pudding lol 

need nibbles, prawns, salad veg and bon bons which will pull by myself ha ha lol

@Jynx yes this new website layout really bothers me! lol. I don't know how to hop around the site anymore. I've never heard of Nosferatu. Will have to look it up! You know I haven't been to a venue in years mainly due to restricted mobility and now all this covid stuff floating around the place. That doesn't bother me as I used to get out a lot when I was younger. I just prefer the quiet life these days!

oh I won a consolation prize in house lottery @greenpea @StuF  $50 off a framed print. of course have to pay out double that to get decent size. going to get a Fred Gassit  cartoon frame lol .. like the cat saying going to leave a nasty suprise for Fred in the shower as hew has lost respect for him ... lol

That's pretty much what I did last year too when I was home alone for Xmas. Prawns, salad, mini pudding and custard. No bonbons though 😂
