Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @tyme how are you thanks for the tag

Re: Share a cuppa?

I learnt piano for 17 years. I didn't like it at all.... but looking back, I'm glad I did it. I enjoy it more now that I'm not having piano exams etc. @Abner

Re: Share a cuppa?

I've had a very good day @Maggie, I found my Arbans trumpet book, then I chatted with my former piano teacher, who's very well and am now listening to the final movement of Smetana:s Má Vlast

Re: Share a cuppa?

Good to see you @ArraDreaming - hope you are well.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Music exams are always really nerve racking. Our conductor at Collegium Musicum once walked out on an exam she was so wracked with panic. The examiners allowed her to rescedule the exam.

I was one time a singer in a conducting exam, and one of the conductors had a disability to do with her arms and was quite self conscious about it. She was very good because she compensated for her arms by using her torso and facial expression much more. She thought she'd done whereas ahe topped the class.
