I had hoped to do secondary roads all the way bur time of day for required travel meant increased risk of interaction with hoppy wild life, and cattle. Was not brave enough for that. Not to.mention the chill factor coming over the ranges early in the morning.   Remember well doing that in a past life in a truck with no heating 🥶
