happy new year.. yeah slack getting on. i gotta set this up on another browser, other one grinds to a halt.

Happy New Year @plasmo  did computer die? Still at rels in Canberra here.was okay in parts. Was a period in-between not being used to people around and indifference. Oh well. Prob leave tomorrow. Trying to avoid rain and floods on road now. Bad timing.

nah still going, just this browser has too much junk in it, been using it for ages takes too long to wake up. moving stuff over to a newer one.

Yeah i did for my old laptop by installing windows 10 lol @plasmo

i got hold of an imac i was going to fix up, had win 10 on it but it's stopped powering up.

have to see if my friend will look at it, could be power supply, switch, ram walked out of sockets.. not sure how keen he is.

That sounds old @plasmo  guess it's virtualWindows 10 like used to be fake wi dows 8

yeah dual boot maybe or boot camp or whatever silly apple/win name. the odd thing is i tried to boot into the apple one and it ground to a halt.

just want to look at the specs and see if it;s stable then maybe consolidate my other pc stuff i never use, but hasn't worked out.

apple and win both annoy me, was going to stick a linux usb in to poke around

yeh i've always been on it, makes more sense. used it for ages then i bought something with win 8 and it had the same old issues, on mostly android after that so bit rusty
