@tyme that's classic 🤣. I'd rather jokes anytime than listening to boring music.
I gave up on my call, I waited for just over an hour and couldn't take it anymore.

Awww @greenpea , I always love seeing you. Reminds me of your bunnies. You have a spot in my heart 🙂 I've been okay. Not great, but not bad either. I'm travelling interstate in Friday to see my parents. My yearly trip there lol.
@Gremlin24 , the jokes were really great actually, and not repetitive! Feel free to call just for the jokes lol. Feeling lonely? Call Aussie Broadband lol

Lol. Unfortunately, the delivery and the tradie were for different parts of the house lol. I am now yet to book the tradie to install my delivered item! @StuF
So many things to deal with when owning a home. I also need an electrician to see to an electrical issue with lights, as well as reconnecting my pool heater....
I really wish I was more practical. Or, let's just say, I have the capacity to be practical, but I don't have the training.
I remember getting and electrician to install 2 ceiling fans a number of years ago. It cost me $850!
Then, I got a quote for a plumber to change the washer of 4 taps.. the quote was nearly $600...
Then, I got someone to clean my air conditioners, and that was $450 (for a job that was less than 1hr)
Then recently, I got someone to clean the pool and it was $320....
Maybe I should just go study trade lol

Ouch!!!
Yeah, I'm not the most practical guy around, but am still living with folks so I'm not yet responsible for most stuff. Wish I knew more about cars sometimes though

I'm okay with cars coz I change them every 5 years or so which means I don't have too many issues. But just small things around the house is shocking and it all adds up!
When 'buying' a house... it's not the buying that's the issue... it's the maintenance! Forever fixing, replacing and repairing things.
Not to mention, I'm in Vic so in Vic, they have an additional tax called the 'COVD recovery tax'... it's HEAPS! Some people are having to pay an additional $10,000 for their properties.
I guess that's similar to owning a car. Buying the car outright is not the issue. It's the yearly insurance, licencing, FINES, registration, people driving into you.... the list goes on.
Life.... @StuF
Good to stay with folks until you have a bucket of cash ready to face the world!

Yeah @tyme - I'm just lucky and grateful that my folks and I get along and that they let me stay here...I do need to move out someday, but I'd struggle financially to stay in Sydney...the dream is to go regional one day...
