I'v had a package diddled out of me concerning someone dropping it off in front of my units mailbox yet if it's my turn to be scandalled thank goodness it was only $300.00

@Shaz51 that is a lovely Christmas feast planed! Are the kids coming home with the grandkids?

We are having a quiet one just us 4 and my parents and the doggy of course. 

I plan to make beed empanadas with salad and prawns on the side. We won't eat too much. And then pavlova for dessert. It's my mum's favourite. 

I hope all is well and we can have a peaceful Christmas eve..then on the 25th we go to Mudgee for a few days. 

This Christmas feels less festive.  I think the economy is getting to everyone.  Even the neighbours who usually put lots of Christmas lights displays have done nothing this year. It feels strange.

I hate Christmas, I hate Santa and I want this entire year to be over and that I can run away from this entire... everything!

Only one of the kids are coming with one grandson

And MIL,  SIL and BIL and son inlaw 

So 7 of us 😊 now 

Yes,  my husband has only put up the fairy lights in the house for the grandson and a present for him and that's it this Christmas

hey @avant-garde i'm sorry to hear you were treated this way, it must've been so frustrating!! you did not deserve this. and i hate when people judge a laugh!! my sister and i have odd and loud laughs so we've heard similar comments before... we just end up laughing harder and louder. 

is there anything you're doing for yourself this holiday? you deserve to treat yourself!!

My new husband said something I credibly insightful about me today ---- is this marriage thing really workable after all ? Can he speak things about me which I need to process are completely true ?? 

He says " look, just tell me what you want for your Christmas presents. We can buy them today. I know what your like when you get into one of your weird moves , you have these crazy things you pull out of the bag to prove I'm not good enough like you keeping the electricity and gas bills from me then you'lle show all of them just to prove something ......." 

Damn. It's my vice.
