Re: Best Friends Club

ohhh @Healandlove

sounds like us especially when there is many things going on at once and my husband can not cope with it all and then he says  things that he will not remember that he said later

it is hard to get the right balance and every day is different

Re: Best Friends Club

Thank you ,@oaktree and @Shaz51, it does help to know that it takes time, atm I've signed up with employment consultant, and I'm hoping they will find me part time work at a local garden nursery I worked at many years ago.

Sounds really difficult @Oaktree that yr husband is experiencing trouble with finding employment , I just think it's me.

Anyway, it feels better for sharing..thank you

Re: Best Friends Club

@Shaz51 , what makes things better for you? Does Mr Shaz apologise?

I am so hurt right now.

@sheba30

Hubby finally pulled the pin and retired in May. He has been much less stressed

Re: Best Friends Club

@Oaktree , @sheba30

yes we finally pulled the pin in June and are retired now due to physical and mental issues

Re: Best Friends Club

@Healandlove

Sending you a loving hug xxx

Re: Best Friends Club

@Oaktree yes, work can be stressful. I hope yr husband feels better for retiring. Sounds like he has had enough of working. But I've just turned 55 and can't live on a centerlink payment and need part time work for that reason, plus the socialisation that u get from working is a good benefit   I'm trying to increase my social life because I don't like being at home everyday.. this evening I'm joining a spiritual group ..so I'm trying to be social and feel more positive.

Re: Best Friends Club

@Healandlove

Does Mr. Shaz apologies? --- never have and I am sure he never will

what makes things better for you? -- still learning, years ago I used to cry in the bathroom and get upset but I have learnt that seems to make things worse

so, if I can redirect myself into doing something else until things settle down

my brain is still going crazy though, this is why i seem to have lots of coffee outside in the garden

I am so hurt right now. --- I know you are my sister , and giving you big hugs

can you and the kids doing something nice together xxx

@sheba30

Ooh joining a spiritual group sounds positive. Good luck with that.

I am trying to get more social too. We have a mix and mingle at Church today. I am hoping to make some friends in my new ward. I only started going there last week so I only know a few people

Re: Best Friends Club

@Shaz51, I'm sorry to hear that you had to retire  because of yr issues..I hope you and yr husband find fulfilment in yr lives doing things that matter most to you.
