Thank you to you both. I dont mind talking about it and sharing what's going on. Ive become used to talking about it with all the awareness and support work, with other people and even the media. So i'm happy to talk about it with anyone, I just dont mention it unless I think its relevant because I know a lot of people find it a very difficult subject. If anyone does have any questions or wants to talk about it in any way, I'm more than happy to talk about it.
As for me, well the current drugs are working very well, but none of them work forever. One fails, you move on to the next one, but there's only so many treatments available and ive already burned through the main ones. The major one failing being found last December which Ive talked about as being the hardest time in my life. But I'm still here, and now with a strong passion to do whatever I can to help people going through their own tough times. One that I'm sure I want to spend as long as I can pursuing. Plus i've meet a lot of fantastic people and made some good friends over this year, so there has been a silver lining. There's men in our support group who are far more advanced that i am, and still feeling good after battling it for 5 or 6 years so there's always hope while there's options still available.
So thank you for the prayers, I appreciate the kind thoughts from a friend.
