I am going to do something like this in the next few days.
About language and association: it says "mum" but I associate the meal with my father, who patiently explained how to make it to my mother, as a food he had sentimental memories of. Mother never had good attitudes to cooking and it was probably more the memory of the tender longing in my father, when I was 8 and just back from the orphanages that meant something to me.
