Congrats on getting the decluttering done @Dimity ! So glad to hear from you.
How are your eyes now?
I ordered a new air con unit from Bunnings yesterday and delivery was $50. It may be cheaper for you.

My eye is a bit wonky @tyme but my new reading light from Vision Australia helps a lot. I've started reading books again.
That's exciting about your new aircon. Is it a portable unit or will you need to get it installed?
Ikea delivery would be very cheap but you need a minimum spend. I'll have to start a shopping list as I can't face going there in person. The Bunnings tubs were out of stock. I'd carefully measured the cupboards to optimise the fit. I don't want to use Amazon or Temu.

I don't like Amazon or Temu. People have tried to hack into both these accounts of mine. It was a stressful time. They had hacked into my Amazon account and put in orders for iphones and ipads. I spent a week chasing things down, changing bank details, getting new bank cards, etc. @Dimity
I'd rather pay more than go through the stress of that again.... kmart?

That's awful @tyme . I've had to change cards 4 times because of being billed by Amazon Prime when I'm not a member. The bank said it was people trying out random card numbers in hopes of some working.
I'll try kmart and see if they list sizes online.. or go to the local store with a tape measure.

All the best with it @Dimity . Hope it turns out okay.
I'm hopping offline soon, so I'll say goodnight.

Hi @Dimity 🙂 Thank you for the hugs.
Well done on decluttering your kitchen cupboard 👍Is the chemical detox place far?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this...whether you do or don't act on them?
@Dimity wrote:I'm so glad you've rediscovered a routine @NatureLover . Your SAD has really lifted with the longer days.
Yes, I am so relieved too. Thanks.
You elderly Tiger does sound a worry 😢
I hardly achieved anything yesterday. Today am about to go out to the library, supermarket and petrol station. Am at a point in my tidying where I'm stymied. Not sure what to tackle next and it all seems difficult.
Hope that your day is successful...

OMG @tyme ! 😯😢
You weren't taking uo too much of my time last night - I enjoyed our conversation. Also, my psychologist has removed my 3.5 hours per week limit on the forums, as I'm no longer welcoming new people or supporting many people (for the moment). I'm coming in under the limit each week.
I do like the idea very much of letting the bad thoughts float past like a cloud. However I can't say that I'm there yet.

I know well the feeling of being stymied @NatureLover . Hopefully going out for your errands will be a break for you.
The detox your home dates seem to be only once a month and cycle through different municipalities. I'll wait for the local one. I'll have to get a taxi or ask someone for transport.
TW there doesn't seem to be a TW option on the phone version @moderator I haven't acted on SI or SH for a very long time. I wish it were as simple as letting thoughts drift by like clouds. Sometimes it feels more like blundering through fog for a while. And sometimes hanging on feels like a long martyrdom.
I've been to the dentist for a check up today. Now like you I'll try to tackle the house again. Good luck to both of us.
yesterday
I did 3 hours @NatureLover but it was a hard slog in a number of short stints.
Hoping you did OK.

Well done on the difficult 3 hours you achieved yesterday @Dimity . 👏
Thanks for explaining about your SI and SH. And that it's a martyrdom 😭
I didn't end up making it out of the house yesterday. So am going to try again to go on my errands after this. At least the weather is brighter.
Hope your dentist check up was uneventful.
