Hi @Dimity , how were you feeling yesterday? What did you decide to do when your helper came?
I was feeling low and all over the place yesterday - I even forgot which way to turn the tap to hot in the shower. But I made it in to work and stayed the whole day. Now 3 days at home and I need to work on the house desperately.
Are you helping your hoarder friend this weekend? I hope you can get some rest and garden therapy time for yourself too 💚

I'm glad you got to work @NatureLover . I hope you can relax into feeling you're achieving something worthwhile when you you're home and tending to your wellbeing.
Yesterday was difficult for me. My helper believes I'm grieving. I guess there's been trauma and loss of hope. It's more complicated than I've been able to say. And I'm not sure my friend would welcome ongoing help. It's deeply troubling.
You say you have 3 days at home. Is Monday not a holiday for you?

I'm sorry Thursday was difficult for you @Dimity 😞 Also that you're grieving. Grief is so difficult - it's something that needs to be done, but it's so painful 😞

I really feel for you 😞 💚

I'm sorry to hear this. Although it will free up time for yourself I guess. But you sound worried about her. Is she at risk of eviction?
No, Monday's not a holiday for me - thank goodness, as 4 days in a row at home by myself just doing housework would be depressing. I managed general tidying and laundry yesterday - more today. Unfortunately my neighbour's NDIS worker ripped 2 precious flowering plants out of the garden yesterday - they are the only things that flower in winter 😞 I am going to try and salvage them today, but I don't hold out much hope. One of them was only a baby, that I was nurturing. I spoke to the lady who did it and she was apologetic and said she wouldn't do it again, so that's a good thing. Plus my nice neighbour has the same plant, and has said she'll take 2 cuttings from it for me. I'll take a photo of it - it has very pretty spiky purple flowers - you might know what it is (I don't).
I risked 20 minutes of the light box this morning as this weekend there's no sun forecast.
Hoping you are OK @Dimity ...good luck today.

I'm glad you used the light box @NatureLover , the weather this weekend has been dismal. I'm sorry about your plants. I've lost many to the whims of neighbours... mostly they've been mown down.
Yes I'm worried about my friend She's very unwell physically and mentally and seems to lack insight into her living conditions which to most people would be intolerable
Tomorrow looks as though it will be cold and wet but I hope all who celebrate Easter have a lovely day. I'll be seeing some family.

Sorry you've lost plants too, @Dimity 😞
Does your hoarder friend have any professional mental health support?
I didn't get much done yesterday, just a little bit...hopefully more today.
I hope you have a nice time with family today...

I think it's one of the sorts of Plectranthus @NatureLover eg https://www.igarden.com.au/plant-type.jsp?t=Plectranthus&id=1007
There are quite a few.
With any luck it might grow from cuttings.
I'm glad you got a bit done yesterday. I didn't but I'm hoping for a better day today.

Hello @NatureLover sending good wishes. I hope your light box is helping. I'm glad I've walked, even just to the shops.

Hi @Dimity , it was an nice day for walking yesterday wasn't it, with sunshine! Today is a whole different story!
Thanks for your good wishes ❤️ I still can't use the light box as my skin is still too itchy 😞 But I caught some sun yesterday.
How are you doing? Are you managing any decluttering? How's your exhaustion?
My house is out of control again - amazng how quickly it happens. But I'm out all day today.
Thanks for identifying my purple plant as Plectranthus 👍 That seems like a good website. My neighbour has planted a cutting.
Sending good wishes back... 💚
