I like what Tulip said about "E" for Escape! It is not always possible (although visit to the toilet or a walk may be practical and cheap!) but when I read "Escape" I was thinking of it in a healthy way, meaning time out for ourselves. My husband and I both function much better when we have some "escape" time! May I also mention a wonderful place I have discovered in Melbourne in the Croydon hills which offers R&R for women, particularly mothers, but all women up to the age of 70yrs. It is called the "Family Care Sisters" (they have a website) which offers some 2-3 and 5-day stays, for up to 6 women at a time. All requirements are provided (catering, etc) and it is very reasonably priced! ($30 a day or donation). Own bedroom (with hand basin) and shared shower facilities. This cost includes program, food and accom! No children - only for women. A great place to recharge your / my batteries! A rare and beautiful place of rest and nurturing, free from the stresses of our everyday lives! I try to get up there twice a year, if I am lucky enough! Not for women with psychiatric illnesses but for those who need time out!
Cheers
Lucky
