Re: Consumer

Hiya Loopy,

Thank you for your kind message..  Had a few too many yesterday for my birthday and am way too old to be doing that now. Just so you know, I don't want to be 65, I want to be 35.. a good age.

The weather here in country SA has been perfect for the festive season (mid 20's) and predicted to be in the high 30's in the next few days..  Looks like I might have to drink more beer. Ah well... Someone has to do it.

Happy new year Loopy.

Happy new year everyone

Re: Consumer

Gray, me ol'mate, anything in moderation is cool, as an old codger I know only too well, age is relative and only a number. When i'm not in a state of stupidity I am always acting the fool, my way of hiding myself from me. But then again I have been like that as long as I care to remember.

The trouble with new year is it reminds me of all those stupid things and resolutions I made knowing now they were only wishful thinking and or pipe dream. Anyway lets hope that the coming year brings us closer together and closer to "sanity".Smiley Indifferent

just as loopy.

Re: Consumer

Hi Loop

Much as I hate the term, for clarity's sake I am curious "Are you a carer?"

I am an ex carer.  I am an ex everything.

I spend my life in pain... physical, mental and emotional.

Not sure if you have read any of my posts but I call Carers Loons and Mentaly ill persons MIPS.

My son, a MIP, called me from NSW yesterday to wish me happy birthday.  I cried afterwards.

He is oh so very ill.

God Bless Coopers Pale Ale and Coonawarra Cab Sav.

Re: Consumer

Gray, I fit into the category of MIPS, like you I have done most things in my life, some good, some bad and some I regret. I do read most of the posts on sane and yes I have tried to read all of yours and those I have been struck by post, like or if too disturbing I leave alone and will attempt them at a later time.

As much as I wish I could, been there done that, medication  is the major stumbling block for me to taste, tipple or over indulge . I can relate to physical, mental and emotional feeling along with physical pain. Spinal fusion , Lumbar, spinal fusion Cervical and now  re-occurring cellulitis

Pain is my second best friend.

Re: Consumer

Alessandra1992, sounds like the way to go. If it does not work we could share a bikkie and a cuppa. Other members posts tend to take my mind off my own devils, some are sad, feel the loneliness and other with heaps to think about.

I accept your hug and return it to you and all. Oh mind my sore foot.

Re: Consumer

Thanks Allesandra

I'm getting a wee bit frustrated, to say the least, with the moderators.. No doubt they are reading this.

Those guys need to step back and let us MIPS and LOONs really communicate.

Trouble is, if I say a naughty word, they will spank me.

Woooooooooo  I haven't been spanked for a long time.
