@tyme Permission to use the word “Blergh”?
Possibly the best descriptive word I have read for this precise situation.
The psychologist I had said, it was my Jungian Rebel - to be happy against all odds.
I think it’s Dunning-Kruger effect, I either underestimate or overestimate my abilities. Mostly I don’t know what my abilities are lol.
I didn’t know what Dunning-Kruger effect was until this morning - PAHAHA lol

Q5: How has grief impacted you? Has it ever had unexpected or uniquely challenging aspects?
I’m in the thick of this right now.
One event so many layers.
You know when the anxiety from all the layers is stuck at the top of your throat and you can feel it all the way down your stomach and in the arches of your feet?
I’m going to take a little break from packing my bag for my flight. Go down stairs, buy some lunch and come back to this.

Q6: What did you do to cope? What was helpful, and were there things that were unhelpful?
Sunlight and Outdoors
I got myself outside, out of this very dark apartment with barely any natural sunlight.
Went downstairs to the coffee shop got some lunch.
Sit with your feelings and name them
Grief and fear - Layers of grief and fear.
Accept and Gratitude
In a message to daughter #2 and told her how grateful I was that she gave me a wonderful birthday last year, under horrible circumstances.
Say What You Need and Ask for Help
I also told her how grateful I am that I’m staying with her sister and Bee is taking me to the airport.
I needed family continuity from West Coast to East Coast.
My family is my home.

Hey there @WildFlower1 ,
Thank you for reaching out.
We have regular Peer Group Chats every Thursday evening, and go through a different topic. Our next chat will be held this coming Thursday at 7pm AEST. The topic will be Holistic Health. We will go through a list of questions and members have the opportunity to respond to each question. I will tag you on Wednesday evening in preparation for the chat on Thursday evening.
Alternatively, we are holding a Sunday Live Hangout which has a topic, but is not structured with questions. This is a space for members to hangout and catch up in real time online. You can read about this here: JOIN US! Live Sunday Hangout 7-8:30pm AEST
