Wishing you a speedy recovery from surgery. Definitely not easy not being able to drive for a while. I found it really hard not being able to drive for 3 months after my spinal surgeries. Well done for doing so much food prep etc beforehand. At least you can eat some healthy meals without having to cook meals. And of course, thanks to COVID, grocery deliveries is so easy these days. Something I relied on for months after my surgeries.

Please do take care, and don't start doing too much, too soon. 💐💕

i had a gp appointment today as i wasnt feeling to well yesterday and had a slight fever and cough with that awful metalic taste. ive got tonsilitis but i do tend to get it a few times a year and was talk of having them removed. they were enlarged at time of surgery but hadnt had any other infection symptoms then so mustve been brewing. have some antibiotics and wounds checked and look to be ok. will give the specialist a call soon to make appointment for this weeks review with her.
unfortunately i cant really use delivery services where i am as its a granny flat located around the side of the main houses so the drivers dont know where to go but ive plenty of things here thankfully and have a support worker with me tomorrow so i can pick up a few extra supplies and medications.

I'm glad your op went ok. Read that you had to stay in for longer than expected. I guess it is better than being sent home too early to just end up back in there. Hopefully you are on the mend now hon.

yes on the mend. not allowed to drive till bascially sunday and only short distances. im going to try and get back to work next week as im out of sick leave after wednesday so gotta pay the bills and catch up on the things i havent been able to pay.

i am getting a massage in home today. my muscles are aching so badly even stornger pain relief isnt working so going to try a massage and hopefully get a walk or 2 in before the end of the week to stretch out abit more
