I spent this morning on the phone to psych office's trying to find someone for mum. No luck. Found one that could help but still out of fee $140 each session. Another one would have been really good but a 9 month wait. Sigh.
Not much sleep last night and up early to take S to work.
Emailed a few psych's for me yesterday. Two responses back today saying they didn't have anyone that would be able to help me and my issue's 😔I guess at least they were honest before wasting my time.
The day just needs to be over.

Ahhhh @Snowie , that sounds so frustrating!
Let's just say, you either have to wait AGES, or you pay heaps? There's no in between?
Does workcover cover the appointments?
I can sit with you if you want.

@tyme my appointments are covered by work cover so that's not an issue. My psych is decreasing her days so half of my appts. are becoming tele health. I struggle with tele health and expressing what I need to say. Would much rather they all be in person, hence looking into a new psych. At the moment I'm just inquiring about other psych's.
However, with mum she has a mental health care plan, yet will the local psych's she would still be out of pocket about $140. All she has is her pension so cannot afford that.
So they say to find a psych that bulk bills and can take on a new patient. Good luck with that.
@rav3n I'm not coping. I'm struggling to look after my own needs, how can I look after someone else. But there is no one else to do it.
I did something last night that almost ended in a trip to ED.
Sitting would be great thank you.

I'm also thinking that with your mum, she may need specialised services to support her? I knew a mental health worker who used to work in a Residential Aged Care Mental Health service. I wonder if you have any in your area @Snowie ?
I believe we also have a Residential Salvation Army MH service here as well.
I'm thinking that you can't just get any psych even if they are available...
Hope I'm on the right track @Snowie

@Snowie i hear how tricky it is juggling everything else and then having to make time to care for yourself too. even if it is 5 mins, i hope you get a lil time to focus on your needs tonight. whether its taking a nap, reading your ebook or some breathing exercises while you lie on the couch. you deserve a breather.
i'm glad you're here with us, and i'm so sorry you had a rough night yesterday. that must've been really overwhelming, and i can imagine how that must've made today harder for you. sending you hugs 💜

She has my aged care @tyme but it doesn't include psych's. She can get services through them, but there is still a fee.
I asked the Doctor yesterday, but he had no clue.
I know there is more I need to look into. There is probably more around my area. Everything just seems to have a price attached to it.
It's also having the energy/motivation to do so.
My want at the moment is zero
