Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @Bow for that information.

I was going to get a letter from my Doctor, copies of prescriptions and then my 2 webster packs.

Yes everywhere I have looked says take it with you and don't put it in your check in bags.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie sometimes it is just time to move on hey!! Like my old psych I had before this one, I actually loved her but got to a point where I felt like I'd done all the work I could do with her. My new psych is able to challenge me in ways she couldn't, so I'm really glad to have made the change! And yeah if face-to-face is really needed (and I totally think it is, esp for us to be able to form a safe/trusting relationship, cos we gotta feel out the vibe) then totally worth prioritising!

@Bow Aww yay, I'm glad you get to catch up with her again!! Maybe she can help set the craft group right ahaha

Re: My Mosaic

@Jynx my problem is that I live rural and have so many issues/diagnosis that need to be dealt with. Trying to find someone that would take me on will be hard. I wouldn't want to deal with me and everything wrong with me.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie yep, a lovely little gap to be falling through I'm sure 😒 How far would you be willing to travel for sessions? Atm I'm driving 1.5 hours once a month and it's not toooo bad. Been thinking about going to 3-weekly so it might become a bit more impactful, will have to see. It is a whole extra factor to consider though, esp if you often come out of appts feeling a bit drained/unsteady and the thought of a long drive suddenly becomes very overwhelming...

Re: My Mosaic

Atm I'm driving 45mins one way for my psych @Jynx A lot of the time after sessions I just sit in my car for 10-20 mins just to calm down and be able to drive home.

I've been looking and trying to find someone who at least cover's c-ptsd it is hard. Then the waiting times.....

Just want to throw it all in.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie can I ask where you're looking? Like are you using databases and such?

Re: My Mosaic

Just using google @Jynx Searching as far as an hour away in all directions.

Re: My Mosaic

@Snowie You might have already tried em, but maybe you could also do a database search? There's these two which cover psychology and counselling;

APS Find a Psychologist

Psychology Today Find a Counsellor

An then there's this one which is more specialised:

Trauma Support Directory

Just in case it helps you expand your search!! 😊💜

Re: My Mosaic
