Re: Anxiety is high

Will I ever be good enough??

Re: Anxiety is high

Hi @BlueBay

Has anything happened that's bring up this feeling, or is it the stress of managing the household and the finances which you've shared here? Either way I'm here to listen if it fells helpful to talk about

Re: Anxiety is high

The stress of everything @Ru-bee

my head is telling me horrible things

I’m so alone

home on my own

I’ve got another headache

would be easier to go away

I’m tired

Re: Anxiety is high

I'm here with you @BlueBay

I hear how much pressure you've been under, and that can be so isolating, but there are always people to listen and support you through this.

Are you feeling safe at the moment? If you're not sure, please reach out to Lifeline 13 11 1 or Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467  for support. You don't have to do through this alone

Re: Anxiety is high

Just not sure about myself safe or not

I am tired

I think I need to sleep

can’t think @Ru-bee

Sorry to bother you

Re: Anxiety is high

There's no need to apologise, I'm here to support you @BlueBay

When we become so overwhelmed it can be hard to think, or to voice our thoughts and feelings. Would it help to take a second just to take some big, deep, belly breaths, and maybe have a glass of water, just to let yourself pause for a second? Maybe a sleep will help as well, if you are tired.

If you're not sure about your safety, you can still always reach out to those numbers, or even to SANE's helpline on 1800 187 263

Re: Anxiety is high

Hey @Ru-bee

im finding that I can’t occupy myself. I’m going from trying to sleep to tv to outside to getting clothes off line. To making coffee. - it’s literally driving me crazy!!!

im so sad depressed anxious. Hate myself. Hate my mental illness. angry. Teary. Overwhelmed.

Re: Anxiety is high

Do you think doing something physical might help shift some of this restlessness @BlueBay, even something light, like going for a short walk or having a stretch?

That's a lot of tough emotions to be going through all at once, it's completely understandable that you'd be having trouble focusing on any one task with all of that going on internally!

Re: Anxiety is high

I don’t know @Ru-bee

sorry I’m so down with myself

alone st home

it’s ok for hubby he works and talks to others

I have no one

my son moved out today - now no kids at home anymore all gone

it’s horrible

Re: Anxiety is high

Oh, that's such a big change @BlueBay it's completely understandable to be feeling that absence

Its important to be as gentle with yourself as you're able while you adjust. Maybe today is just a hard day, and the goal is just to get through it
