@TAB hey tabby, its nice weather here today. Feels strange saying goodbye to 2024. It's been a bit of weird year. It went very fast. Seems only yesterday this time last year.

agree re odd year @Meowmy  I got a certIV, a cat , went to RSL, saw psych  and for free. spent too much, managed not to get cut off dole, had another tooth out

seems like took for every re all work for course and all driving etc , oh, got copy of my Honours thesis, ha, set up pay tv , got google thing for tv , not used yet, watched sport on computer, ha didnt drink hardly at all in October and half of November, grew tomatoes. paid all bills.. got cheap dental plus got hundreds  and hundreds  in refunds for travel to medical appts prob pushing $1000, but I would have spent more than that

car still running okay, had nice food and christmas. back was a lot better last time I was walking somehow. cat disappeared for 8 days a couple months ago , but came back somehow. Lots to be thankful for here.

Hello @TAB have attended a webinar this morning on crypto held by a former CEO bigwig I want to establish myself financially in the crypto space. I had no idea its where big business has been headed, just about every prominent household brandname like Johnson and Johnson, Walmart and Amazon are into crypto. Even Walmart uses crypto software to trace its goods like a banana for example - like when it arrived in stock and how long its been held in the store. Trump is heavily into crypto and the USA government uses crypto although its not widely known as the Biden admin has been actively suppressing crypto

BTW I finally got my water filter to work after flushing it several times and emptying the water below the spigot in the bottom chamber. I think it was carrying the water filtration medium sediment after not emptying out the last lot of water, it will save me money on store bought water in future. I think I have a reliable filtration system now 

Have been looking again at the market for tricycles, saw some on Bunnings but they did not say you had to assemble them at home so went to their official site and spoke to customer care and I can get someone from a bike shop to put it together just in case I muck it up and breach my warranty status doing a botched assembly. I did not want to go with ebay or temu with overseas shonky goods.

Bunnings seem the way to go because I get free delivery plus warranty. I can just take into a bike shop and have someone put it together for me. Theres parts I need to assemble it with which aren't supplied. The also don't provide an accompanying assembly guide. You need to go online for that. So I have something that will get me around town next year if travel gets restrictive due to another pandemic. We are seeing rumblings of mutated birdflu virus in the USA allready and some even saying it will morph into another pandemic.

crypto disappears now, let alone in emergencies @SmilingGecko  not hard to hide something that does not exist lol . Read today would wipe out the economy if actual businesses used it. @SmilingGecko  thats good re filter. bunnings bikes are chinese Iguess as are most of their products. should be easy to get someone to assemble it tho . i got kmart bike once, was ok, just had to put pedals , seat and handle bars on, nothing really mechanical or specialised.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to wish you guys a very happy new year! My year has been good. Went on a few trips with Tendercare, saw a few shows, got selected for a scholarship for next year, my son got engaged, had my daughter home for 4 months from Hawaii and most importantly our health was good. Stayed out of mental health hospitals. So all in all a good year. Looking forward to bigger and better things next year. My best wishes go with you all into the new year!!!
