Hi there,
I am in a friendship group for women in Melbourne who have a diagnosis of bipolar, we call ourselves the Bipolar Babes. We meet every two weeks and have great discussions about all kinds of things. We do not have a clinician chairing us.
It's a great group and we have formed friendships and we support each other through highs and lows.
I have found it really valuable to know there are other women out there just like me.

I have a couple of friends who have a diagnosis of bipolar, unfortuantly neither of them live in Melb but be assured they would both proudly call themselves Bipola Babes. I consider myself very honoured to have them as long term friends as their insight and warmth is something very special to me. One friend has a great habit of describing people on their hugability (ranging from 0 - 10). She is definately a 10.
I am so glad to hear you also have a great network of friends & I bet their hugability factors are also very high.
cheers Crystal
