I saw this drum solo by Neil Peart on Letterman many years ago and it stuck in my mind. He was one of the best drummers in the world. He used to play in the band Rush. Anyway if you like anything with skill you will definitely like watching this.  An old ex of mine was a drummer and used to play drums all day.

Yeah I know, this dude was up to his eyeballs in drums. Imagine being his neighbour? lol (No, Neil Peart probably did have drum pads you know!)  But yeah incredible talent. He makes it look so easy but its not. It would take a tonne of dedication and practice and here we are just bystanders, looking on aghast @Glisten. If you want to check out another drummer like him but from a different era go look up someone called "Buddy Rich" on you tube. He's kind of from yesteryear but still a lot of skill involved in the playing of drums

How are you going with Noom, @TAB? I got offered a free sign up from them for a limited period after doing some quizzes of theirs. I won't do it as I'm doing ok with things so far but it seems so neat-o with the app. Very modern. I hope you enjoy using it and your one-on-one sessions. They might give you a med that enables you to trim down like I was with diabetes med that does the same thing. Good luck. I'm hoping they can do something for you. It looks like a wonderful program.

its still first day @SmilingGecko  but seems ok . i bombed on CSIRO one, kept telling me to eat more protein so was eating cans tuna all day and put on weight ha ha lol

my new scales saying two units fewer than drs did 4wks ago plus was later in day, will all be in morning from tomorrow. so thats encouraging.

..thanks @SmilingGecko  'buddy rich' was who ws trying to think of. was very famous like 1940s,50s or whatever. there was a movey scene with a bum busking on drums and he'd go ok buddy rich such and such shuffle etc
