Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@Gremlin24 my body is slowly starting to feel more normal. Emotions are still blunted. I do have a lot to discuss with my psych during my upcoming appointment

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@creative_writer glad you are slowly starting to feel normal and it's good that you have a psych appointment coming up. I just finished my picture that I was colouring 😊.

@Gremlin24

I have coffee and even put the coffee grinder away! Replacing it with the clear plastic shelf things.

This show I will fill up that last paper bag and take it out.

Then the rest of today is mine!

Re: Best Friends Club

@avant-gardewoo, well done. What up going to do for the rest of the day?

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 nonograms and tv probably

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@Gremlin24 I recently started seeing a new psych, she seems good so far, I hope it stays that way.

Ohh, what’s the picture of? I feel art can be so soothing to the soul. I think I would find it easier to describe how I feel by drawing or writing poems than journaling. It’s just how my brain is wired

Re: Best Friends Club

@avant-garde sounds like fun 😊

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@creative_writer fingers crossed it stays that way.

Yeah I used to write poems but I haven't written one for years. I love colouring though. Never been one for journalling. I'll tag you in the picture 😊

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@Gremlin24 I didn’t know you wrote poems, that’s amazing. I find it so much more effective in processing my emotions than journalling because it allows me to process emotions on a deeper level. I think it helps to describe how I feel using imagery and metaphors.

I’ve had moments where I used to journal, but I would lose motivation after some time.

I’ll take a look at your picture 😊

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@creative_writer it was something I did throughout my school years and a bit after but I haven't done it for many years. Every now and then I think of a few lines and jot them down, maybe I'll put some together sometime. Poetry is a great way to process emotions and on a deeper level.
