Hello @Shaz51 @Oaktree @PeppyPatti @Appleblossom @Arbie_wun @Gremlin24 and others I have not tagged hehe 🙂 and @Jynx @rav3n @Ru-bee @tyme
I’ve actually had a good week this week and I feel that my mental health is starting to get into a ‘good’/‘alright’ place. Though I’m not 100% there yet since I still have other things to work on in order for me to reach that level and who knows how long that’ll take.
If it wasn’t for my psych suggesting some of the coping strategies to me (like listening to music whilst doing chores/tasks I don’t like for example) I would still be in bed depressed. I really hope I can keep my routine consistent this way.
Whenever I keep myself busy throughout the days it makes me feel better (even if it’s slightly) mentally and I find it to be a really good distraction to have, instead of/unlike when I stay at home all day being in bed not doing anything. So these days I just need to continue to find ways to keep myself busy throughout the days of the week - including starting uni full time next month with the current TAFE course I’m doing since last semester I did it part time but now I wanna have a go at doing it full time as I don’t work 🙂

@Blackcloud so glad to hear that you have been doing better. Music is great therapy and i love blasting it while I'm cleaning my house.
Keeping yourself busy and distracted is a great strategy and i hope you can continue to do so. Hopefully starting back at Tafe will get you into a good routine aswell and doing it full time sounds like a great idea for you.
Keep up the hard work, you are doing amazing and I'm super proud of you 😊

Thank you @Gremlin24 i needed this 😊❤️ I also plan on joining some social groups that some NDIS affiliated organisations have with regards to have since my psych, as well as pretty much every other professionals I’ve met in the past have all suggested /recommended (even on my past assessment reports) that I should join some for me to build on some social skills and build friendships with like minded people. I’m gonna see how that goes, and the first social group I’ll be attending is the golf program which for me will be next Saturday afternoon. 🙂
any plans for today? @Shaz51 and @Gremlin24 too

@Blackcloud it really sounds like all your hard work is paying off and things are starting to fall into place. I hope joining some social groups will help you in your journey, golf sounds like great fun.
I don't have anything on today other than just trying to make it through the day. I have my crafts to do but at the moment I don't have the energy to move from my bed. I'm exhausted from not sleeping and my mind just feels like it's everywhere all at once. Maybe I'll doze off again and manage a bit more rest. But for now I'm just laying here trying to calm my mind down, trying to stay in this present moment.

@Blackcloud I have to admit I found that when I was at my worst, my music listening was less. I was also doing less of the things I enjoyed. I wasn't playing as many games to keep my mind focused on other things and this added to the problems.
I have gotten myself into a semi regular gym routine but sometimes this gets interrupted by other things which is a bit annoying at time but that is life unfortunately. I have a few new projects that I am working on, and they are taking up some of my time while I am still doing other things to keep my mind busy.
I really would like a bit more me time to be able to sit and draw more often but I have too many fingers in too many pies at the moment! I still have a couple of jobs that I need to do but have been putting off because some are unpleasant and not in a good way.
