Re: Best Friends Club

Yes! Loved having you on the chats @Louie333 . Totally! It was a breath of fresh air to be honest. You input was invaluable. I'll definitely let you know as soon as the chats come back.

And re being flat? I was feeling pretty flat last night and today, and I envisage I will continue to feel flat for the next few days, but I'm hopeful that things will improve - actually, I know they will.

I'll be the cotton sheet 🙂 As long as it's not microfibre which is nice to look at, but suffocating! LOL.

We'll just have to be flat together 🙂 Who said you can't have style when you're flat!

Re: Best Friends Club

Cotton is a wholesome choice @tyme I will stick with being flat linen because its a bit wrinkly with use, I feel a certain kinship there😉

I am sorry you are feeling flat with some working through that feeling to do. I will hold you in my thoughts🤗

Oh yes the live chats were a breath of fresh air, Somehow, no natter how serious, they always had laughter and an uplifting vibe.

Here is to flat becoming more 3D, stylish 3D of course, always!

Re: Best Friends Club

You know what else? Linen is 'airy'. It has a transparency to it and it is breathable. It shows your transparency and honesty 🙂

LOL. We need to make a new thread "What fabric are you?"

I was only ready about fabrics last night. I learnt about the different fabrics e.g. pure bamboo material in Australia is no such thing (unless you grow the plant)... rather, it's synthetics...

Also, cotton is a lot thinner.

Microfibre pills easily and gets irritating.

Linen is very cool - as long as you don't mind the little wrinkly bits lol.

@Louie333

Did you know I used to iron all my things - sheets, pillowcases, underwear, hats...EVERYTHING.

And yes! Why not stylish 3D!

Awesomeness 🙂

@Louie333

Sorry that you are feeling so flat hun. I had a  chuckle to myself when you likened yourself to a linen sheet. I want to be a fluffy doona in the middle of winter! I was just saying to hubby yesterday that we should buy a new bed this year. We have had our bed bade for 32 years. We got a different mattress but that was probably 15 years ago and it was second hand. This is the year for getting cosier. I am thinking of buying white linen.

Re: Best Friends Club

Don’t buy new white linen @Oaktree
I JUST and I mean only about 5 mins ago got a blood nose on our white linen… Mrs hasn’t seen it yet

Re: Best Friends Club

@ArraDreaming

It’s ok it will wash out in cold water. And you can bleach it if it gets grubby

Re: Best Friends Club

No! White linen is good because you can bleach the whole thing! That's why hotels and stuff use white!

The kids here always get blood noses on their pink and blue sheets... it doesn't come out! @ArraDreaming

Hope you're okay. I find the heat causes these kids to have blood noses.

Re: Best Friends Club

We have 3 kids so nothing stays white here

Re: Best Friends Club

Nah I don’t feel the best I have a headache too @tyme I been drinking water

Re: Best Friends Club

Dear @Sarah29

How are you ? I'm 57 years - peri menopause is behind me.

But I do remember the anxiety. And

It sounds like your going through a tough time. Perimenopause can bring emotional changes.

It's completely normal to feel a sense of loss as your children grow up. It's a big transition, and it's okay to grieve the changes.
I'm here for you. If you want to talk things through, I'm happy to listen.

Do you think your doctor may have some answers about how  perimenopause might be affecting you?

I apologise if I'm on the wrong thought here, I remember when I went through peri menopause I had to change all how I felt about my two sons  I used to get panic attacks first thing in  The morning.
