Thankyou,
I was thinking about you and me last night and I thought that
Meeting someone who truly loves us has assisted us come from a stronger place.
Although this is not for everyone it has positively helped us.
Agree ?
Thank you @PeppyPatti It's very good to know that you find my replies helpful. I know the support I get from everyone here helps me a lot as well.
I couldn't agree more with you! Having my partner around to get me through the past couple of years has been so crucial to me... I really don't know how I would have done it without her. Even the 11+ years I've been with her, she has helped me so much with my feelings of not just loneliness, but issues of self-confidence, self-esteem, and just general happiness in life. It makes such a difference and frees us up enough to work on our other issues. Which in turn, helps us with other relationships in our lives.
I know some people like to be alone or single, and others just don't have anybody. I was there for so long, I really do sympathise for how they feel and hope they can eventually find that same love and support I did. For people that prefer to be single, I think it takes a strong spirit of independence, that I just don't think that I have. But I do, generally, find them to be incredibly nice people. I don't know... they seem to share that love and support among the people around them more. That's just my observation anyway.

I am not a person who likes to be alone. I have been in my relationship for 32 years. I don’t know what I would do without my husband but he is 10 years older than me so I may find out someday. I get lonely if he leaves the house without me. He used to be a travelling salesman and that was hard but I had young kids at home to keep me distracted. I phone hubby if I am on my way home from somewhere just to keep me company
