I have hearing aids too! granted it took over a month to get rid of the infection caused by the ear irrigation stuff... I'm new to hearing aids...

I have been bemused by making a very rare social media post that went globally viral, I mean in the news🤔 All social media platforms. I can't really say what it is about because that identifies me, how boring, would love to share😆

Aside from inadvertently lighting debates,I have been researching HRT today, I mean it's a bit late in the scheme of things but looking at every option imaginable to change the relentless doomed and exhausted feeling. 

Misty and wet here, the kitten is curled up purring on my shoulder, amazing how soothing that purr is. It is not feasible to permanently wear kittens, I do wish it was😊

Yes, after being on the forums yesterday and today, I am starting to feel better. I just see there's so much more to the world than these little thorns in the flesh that I have at the moment. The thorns are still there, but I need to stop dwelling on them. 

@Louie333. Oooo... that post going viral sounds so interesting! Nice to stir up a bit of debate sometimes. No need to worry, I don't have social media platforms to access. These forums are the most 'social' I get.

@Glisten might be able to share their experiences of HRT. @Oaktree , not sure if you can too. I don't know anything about it. But if it helps, why not?

As for kittens and cats. I've always disliked them. But since last year, I'm getting more attached to them. Sounds like your kitty is living the life!

I have a question. Please don't get offended anyone. @avant-garde , you mentioned that you are in your 30s, can I ask about your hearing aids? How do you feel about them? Can I ask why you need them (no pressure to disclose if you aren't comfortable)? Let me know if you aren't comfortable with this question and I can delete it.

Why i'm asking is that my brother in law has been recommended hearing aids, but has always been hesitant. He has now been recommended to see an ENT specialist. They think something is 'wrong' with his ears, and hence affecting his hearing.

@Shaz51 hi shazzy my sister! I'm well. Just inundated with my job. I wish I was still on holidays.  No easing back in for me. Cold and wet here and will be like this for the next 2 weeks! 

Hope your hearing aids don't give up on you. 🙂. Still good to have them checked in case there's a loose connection or something.

I have had a hearing aid since I was 28 

I am totally deaf in one ear and over the years my hearing in my other ear has decreased soo much
