Hey @Shaz51, how are you doing tonight? Did you watch the footy? I was busy working and had other things to do beforehand. RiverSeal

Hey @Mustang67 lovely to meet you too! I’m sorry to hear that. A weird coincidence but 2018 was also the year that things went worse than ever for me after a loss, and have just been riding the highs and lows since then. Can definitely relate to that, have dropped friends like flies and it really sucks but also I’m so used to it by now. Sending love and hope you are doing better in general now ☺️
It’s definitely day to day, my mind tries to trick me a lot but I think it helps a lot staying as positive as you can manage for the day! I absolutely love that idea with your tattoo, a reminder to keep going ☺️
I’m glad that you’re feeling a little brighter after reaching out on this forum! That’s awesome. And thank you!! ✨

Hi @Oaktree! I feel you, it can definitely be super isolating living with bipolar. It’s exhausting to the point where I don’t really have the energy for socialising often these days! I wanna improve on that too though, nice to meet you ☺️

It’s lovely to meet you too! I hope we can be forum friends. I think my friends don’t know what to do when I submarine. I want them to check on me but I discourage visits because my house is always a mess. It’s a bit tricky to navigate. I have two really good friends and a few acquaintances at Church. I have just had to move wards last week at Church though so now I don’t know anyone there

Sounds like a lovely night watching some wholesome TV @Shaz51! I have a pub in my building, so it's been really rowdy all afternoon and with the after-party. RiverSeal

Sounds nice! It can be really difficult as well being aware of how taxing my moods can be on my friends and loved ones, I’m in the same boat where I wish and hope that they would check in or invite me out but I’m aware that I’ve really isolated myself without even realising I was doing it.
Home visits are off limits for me too because I’m so anxious and have terrible ADHD so I’m always embarrassed about my mess! It’s funny because I’m great at organising but also one of the messiest people I know 😅 I find change is a really big trigger for me so I can understand how that would be hard, just know that things will work out and you’ll make friends in no time - even if your brain tries to convince you otherwise ☺️
