Re: Support for L-B

Hi @tyme @L-B

Hi Tyme,

we were discussing strategies for combatting anxiety a few posts ago.

Have you got any others that might be helpful?

Re: Support for L-B

For me, from experience, exposure therapy (going slow and increasing bit by bit), and breathing through the experience each time.

When things are anxiety-provoking, I can feel myself remembering to take deeper breaths and slow down my breathing.

It took me a long time to know how to do this. @Oaktree @L-B

Re: Support for L-B

How are you @L-B ?

Re: Support for L-B

Hi @L-B @tyme

How are you guys going.

I am suffering from a bit of anxiety this week. Trying to push through.

Tomorrow I am taking hubby to the zoo.

Re: Support for L-B

Hey @Oaktree ,

Sorry to hear about the anxiety. Do you feel it's something you can work through?

Zoo? Lovely!

Re: Support for L-B

Hi @Oaktree @tyme , the zoo sounds like a great reward for getting through your anxiety. Hope you are able to make it @Oaktree .

Re: Support for L-B

How's everything going for you this week @L-B ?

Re: Support for L-B

Hi @tyme , I am disheartened by my job. I look for other work and cannot see anything suitable. It's hard to find a job that ticks at least several boxes. I feel undervalued where I am.

Re: Support for L-B

Awww @L-B .;

Maybe this is not the right job for you then? What do you think?

If you don't mind me asking, what field of work is it?

Re: Support for L-B

I don't know if it's the right job for me. I had high hopes of it @tyme  ...the fields I've broadly worked in include the arts and health. I will keep looking for other opportunities for now.
