@Sunnyside226 I know the feeling well, it's very hard to sit with but it WILL pass, always remember. Take long, slow breaths. My fav breathing technique to help with panic is 4-7-8:
Big breath in for four counts, hold it for seven, then exhale slowly over eight counts (the 'counts' don't have to be a measure of seconds, just whatever feels comfortable).
The reason it works is because when we breathe in, our heart rate increases, then it decreases when we breathe out, so making the exhales longer means the heart will start to slow down, reducing feelings of panic.
If you wanna chat to someone, you could always try calling Beyond Blue, or if things get really heavy for you, chat to Lifeline. Take it slow hun, one step at a time. This will pass, takes maybe 30-40 minutes for adrenaline to work its way through the body once you've started to calm. I'm here with you 💜

I am trying to do the breathing techniques
I am in the air conditioning while the kid is watching YouTube I'm in my room so they don't see me having a meltdown my depression is slowly coming back going back to the way I was not that I tell people about it
And yes I am going out to check on the kids one is asleep I don't need people telling me what to do because I'm allowed to have Time to myself there's no need to call them because I am not watching them ATM I am in and out with check them @Jynx
I wish people understand how hard it is it looking after kids
Also @Jynx how is the kitty cats?
And yes I am crying

@Sunnyside226 I hope you can give yourself a break for the depression coming back - it's honestly not surprising with everything on your plate at the moment. You're right, people don't understand how much time and energy is involved with caring for kids! Especially on your own, and especially when you're not used to it!
It's okay to be crying hun. Crying is good, in my books. Took me a long time to learn that, but it made a world of difference - crying is how we release all the pent up stress. It physically helps our bodies to release stress hormones and stuff. It can feel really crappy while it's happening but it will hopefully help you return to a more regulated state of mind. Keep breathing with it, let as much out as you need to.
Kitties are good! Got one sniffing at my toes right meow hehehe.
Here's a pic, may these kitties make you smile!

Sorry if I came down hard on you after that one person said about something I haven't been the same look I'm trying there is only one of me that can do so much just like there is only one of you
Yes having the kids wasn't planned because my brother and his partner had the baby and they had some very serious issues after 3weeks after having the baby
I have never felt more down upset in my life about a person
I don't mind being called names or being told off but that comment really hurt me
Also omg omg cute kitty cats I love them I wish I could cuddle them are they both girls? The Gray one looks very young I must say that might be a hand full like kids 😂 😂
How are you @Jynx do anything nice today got plans for the weekend?
Yes the kitty cats made me smile very very cute 🥰 they're lucky to have you as there mum/ dad human in a nice way 😄

@Sunnyside226 sounds like a whole lot of responsibility has fallen on your shoulders very suddenly! It's no wonder it's all so stressful for you.
Are you talking about the person in the shop, their comment hurt you? No one deserves to be yelled at, especially for something that isn't their fault! That person was unfairly taking their anger out on you. It doesn't have to be yours to carry.
Yep they're both girls! The calico patchy one is Trixie, the little tabby is Razz. Trixie is 2, Razz is about 10 months. They sure do keep me busy, cos they're young and full of energy! Buuuut cats are pretty low maintenance in general, which is why I like em! I have a niece and nephew who are quite the handful, so I really couldn't imagine having kids of my own - just looking after me is quite enough!
My weekend, hmm I have a friend's birthday tonight after work, just going to stop by and say hi. Then tomorrow I'm playing D&D with some friends!
How about you, what are you and the kidlets doing to keep busy this weekend?

Tomorrow the kid wants to go to the zoo or museum and wants to go back to the skatepark and we are going to the shop because the one kid needs new undies and newborn nappies
Having kids is very stressful that's why I don't have any yet one day
What's d&d? Is that a game?
Birthday tonight lucky you nice cake
I was upset with the person yesterday about the yelling
I am more still upset with someone here
Your kitty cats are really really cute I bet they jump on you when you're asleep I heard cats do that 😅 @Jynx
Do you take them for walks?
I can't remember if I said this but you are a really caring person @Jynx
Kitty cuddles 🤗 and kisses
Do you like running? I run sometimes

@Sunnyside226 ooh sounds like a big day tomorrow, whatever you end up doing!
Yep it's a table-top role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. Everyone has a character and role plays as them in adventures!
Just something to keep in mind, if you have something forums-related that has upset you, it's generally better to keep those things to email communication. Just in case maybe a member comes along and reads "I am more still upset with someone here" and thinks it is them, even though it isn't. I think I know what you're talking about and understand why it's still on your mind, so feel free to email us about it if you need. And don't worry about posting about it this time, you didn't know - but yeah for future, just email us if there's something that's happened on the forums that has left you feeling upset, and we will do our best to sort it out.
Yep my kitties love jumping on me when I'm sleeping! They're letting me know they're hungry hahaha. But I don't mind, waking up to fuzzy ones is always nice. Okay, sometimes it's really annoying, but mostly nice 😂
Aww thanks hun, I try my best!
I like running occasionally, prefer walking though. But when I do run, I run barefoot! Soooo much better.

barefoot running wouldn't that burn your feet on the hot road or footpath?
Honest I don't even care anymore all I can say is I do my best and if people don't like move on! I'm not here to make anyone happy
Sorry for everything on here I will go
My mh is now getting bad I got my friend to come over to look after the kids for a bit because I wouldn't handle myself any longer
Enjoy your night @Jynx

@Sunnyside226 no need to go! Please stay, you're very welcome here! Like I said, just letting you know for future reference 😉
Haha well I try very hard to stay away from hot roads! I usually go to the park behind my house, big footy fields so it's all lush grass under my toes.
I'm glad you've got a friend coming to help out, you deserve a nice break! It sucks that things have gotten so overwhelming for you hun, please keep using this space to chat and check in as much as you need to. We got your back 💜
You enjoy your night too hun, rest well, and I'll chat to you next week 😊
