Music as an essential therapy

Hiya space cadetsWoman Wink

I'm listening to a Radio National interview with the chief conductor of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, David Robertson.

Here's the link:  http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/musicshow/david-robertson/5684412

He says that music and the arts are a public service that can help greatly in restoring and maintaining health.  He explains it much better than that.

Hi @BatGuano, not sure if you're still active on the Forums, but I just thought I'd let you know that tonight's Topic Tuesday is on music therapy. You can join us here from 7pm (that's in half an hour!) to chat about music as therapy and ask questions of our special guest, registered music therapist Lisa-Marie.
